Podcaster 7 App Reviews

My only gripe so far is the elimination if push updates that were present in older versions if Podcaster.

Latest update broke the app. Crashes instantly when launched.

When I first used this app a few years ago, it was great; doing what was supposed to. Over time, the owner stopped updating it; it eventually become combersome to use. The owner then came up with a "new" app, i.e. I had to pay again for it. I said, ok, the owner has to be paid to keep it updated, fine, as long as it does what the original did. Now, the new version is again failing in various ways: 1. does not update podcasts as scheduled, 2. does not automatically play all, 3. it sometimes completely jams, so one has to delete and re-install. I wont buy any version of this product again, and dont recommend it.

This app is unstable, in the download. ダウンロード中によく落ちます。あと検索で引っかからない番組は、本家podcastからURLを拾って、podcasterでインポートしてます。それ以外は特に問題なし、サクサク動くし。

Neither the search does, nor the categories section

I bought this for one podcast and one podcast only. I am subscribed to this podcast in Itunes. I cannot get it to work, I cannot get my podcast to play on my iPhone 5.

Started using this app several years ago & never looked back. Tried a few others over time but always found this one to be most feature-rich, easiest to use, and most reliable. Customer service is excellent too.

Has all my feeds. Downloads before I go to work.

Ive been using this app for years and I would say its even better than Apples own PodcAst App. Thanks :)

Quick, responsive, and with a great interface, Podcaster is easily my favorite app for podcasts. I highly recommend it!

Buggy piece of crap. Waste of $2

Podcaster 7 seems to be broken. Crashes every time you try to open it.

Ive been using Podcaster for years and love it. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is they have never gotten the pause working properly when another app, say Maps, once to announce something - they talk over each other. Other than that Im EXTREMELY happy with Podcaster.

dont update to 7! crashes everytime- can not open app. am being forced to try another app.

Ive been using this for years. I dont know how it compares to Apples podcast app, because Podcaster does everything I need and Ive had no reason to explore any other options.

It seems in supporting the iOS7 background downloads feature this latest version breaks the app on iOS 6 altogether. (Unprotected call to a new API I bet.) Please, pull the update from the App Store until a compatible version can be released. (Note to apple: give developers the ability to rollback catastrophic updates without waiting for the review team!)

CRASH every time i run it!!!

NOW the latest update is REQUIRING iOS 7. But because the prior update which didnt claim to require 7 tries to install for those of us still on iOS 6 or lower when the App Store offers us the last working copy for our operating system were given the same broken copy as before. That prior update has broken something we paid for and the new requirements seem to insure well be left out in the cold unless we update the o.s. Been a fan of this app for years, but this is a mess. ------------- Prior Review Latest update has caused this to crash under iOS 6. Normally love the app (the single star is just for this version), but it wont even open since the latest update.

Ive seen the recent reviews being less than glowing, so I thought that I should give a review of 7.5. I updated by accident because of the earlier reviews and I am on IOS7. It seems to have addressed the biggest problems that I have heard about recently. It can play even after the lock screens come on and can pause and resume play from the lock screen as well. I am very happy with the improvements that have been made.

I have to delete app, reinstall and import my subscriptions over and over again. I have written developer and have received zero response.
